Opplæringsprogram for unge i Pécs, Ungarn

Er du, eller noen du kjenner mellom 18 og 30 år engasjert i å organisere konserter, festivaler etc, og har lyst til å lære mer i et internasjonalt miljø? Fram til 31. januar går det an å søke om å delta i YEMP3 (Young Event Managment Programme) som er et opplæringsprogram fra 17. juli til 3. august 2015 knyttet til den internasjonale Europa Cantat XIX Pécs 2015, Ungarn. De som blir valgt ut til å delta får dekket alle kostnader. Det eneste de trenger dekke selv er reisen til Pécs. Sjekk det ut, og del med aktuelle deltakere!

-EUROPA CANTAT JUNIOR FOR FØRSTE GANG I SKANDINAVIA

 

29.juli til 6. august 2014 fylles Bergen av syngende barn. Barnekor fra alle deler av
Europa, inkludert noen av noen av Europas beste barnekor, vil bruke Bergen til å utfolde
seg i sang en hel uke til ende.

 

Festivalen Europa Cantat Junior har vært arrangert i flere europeiske land, sist i Pärnu,
Estland i 2011. Aldersgrensen er 10-18 år.

 

Festivalens motto er «Bringing people together!» Mens mange festivaler bygges rundt
musikalsk kappestrid, er Europa Cantat junior basert på musikalske møter og samsang,
gjennom workshops, konserter sammen og andre aktiviteter for barn og unge.

 

Europa Cantat har en inkluderingspolicy for å få sangere fra så mange land med. Sangere
fra rike land betaler mer enn sangere fra fattige land i Europa, som subsidieres for å delta.
Festivalen er på denne måten en arena for solidaritet og demokratibygging, i tillegg til det
musikalske.

 

Det er UngiKor VEST som skal være verstkap for den store festivalen. UngiKor VEST
består av barne-og ungdomskor fra de tre vestlandsfylkene Hordaland, Rogaland
og Sogn og Fjordane, og er arvtager etter BOSUF, Bergen og Omland Skole - og
Ungdomskorforbund, som har drevet flotte koraktiviteter for barn og ungdom i 40 år.
Bergen har også tidligere hatt store barnekorfestivaler, men ingen av et slikt kaliber og
med så langveisfarende kor som Europa Cantat junior.

 

Festivalen legger opp til allsangaktiviteter for hele Bergens befolkning, og åpne, gratis
konserter. Målet vårt er at «Hele Bergen skal synge» denne sommeruken. Ikke minst gjør
UngiKor VEST nå et løft for å få igang flere barnekor frem mot festivalen, på den måten
blir festivalen en storsatsing også lokalt.

 

«Dette blir et løft for barnesangen i Bergen. Vi trenger all støtte vi kan få, både i frivillig
innsats og økonomisk» sier Mari Byrknes, styreleder i UngiKor VEST. Hun håper fond og
næringsliv vil være med å støtte opp om festivalen.

From Torino to Pécs - Festival EUROPA CANTAT

Torino was the capital of choral singing for 10 days - now we look ahead to Pécs.

The City of Torino was "dressed in magenta" and ready TO welcome over 4.000 participants, almost 900 guest artists including soloists and orchestra musicians and almost 200 guests. Adding around 350 local volunteers, the participants of the Youth Event Management Programme and other staff members, around 5.500 people connected to the festival filled the streets, the squares, the churches and the halls of Torino. There were well over 100 concerts and major musical events, presenting the musical results of over 40 ateliers, the repertoire of participating choirs and guest performances. In addition there were over 40 one-day discovery ateliers and numerous lectures and presentations for conductors and composers. You will find more statistics and details in our final Press Release >> here. European Forum on Music, Istanbul Transcending Boundaries – Building Bridges The second edition of the European Forum on Music, entitled “Transcending Boundaries – Building Bridges” will take place from 19 to 22 April 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey, in combination with the Annual Meeting of the European Music Council. Through workshops, plenary discussions and presentations, participants will explore the physical obstacles hindering musical exchange in Europe as well as discuss the role which music can play in overcoming borders – be it geographical, cultural or generational. The European Forum on Music will take place in theBorusan Music House which is located in the heart of Beyoglu - Istanbul's thriving artistic and cultural centre. Registration is now open here! Already over 3.300 participants for Turin Many people already signed up for the festival before November 30th, others have been signing up since. We have reached over 3,300 participants, but there is still room for those who want to join. If you want to know for which ateliers your choir can still be accepted, please write to info(at)ectorino2012.it or call the festival office. Persons who applied will receive an email in the coming weeks from the Festival office, which will confirm they correctly applied. Il y a déjà au delà de 3.300 participants, mais il est encore possible de s'inscrire pour le festival. Si vous voulez savoir pour quels atelier votre choeur peut encore s'inscrire, écrivez à info(at)ectorino2012.it. Les participants inscrits recevront un mail de confirmation du bureau du festival.  Inzwischen haben sich schon über 3.300 Teilnehmer/innen für das Festival angemeldet, aber es ist immer noch möglich sich anzumelden. Wer wissen möchte, in welchen Ateliers noch Platz für Chöre ist, kann an info(at)ectorino2012.it schreiben. Wer sich angemeldet hat, bekommt vom Festivalbüro eine Bestätigungs-Mail.

Important Change for Academy in Pomáz Due to personal reasons of András Farkas (CH), the founder of the International Summer Choir Academy on Oratorio/Orchestra Conducting, the 9th edition of this unique masterclass for choral conductors will have a new conducting tutor this summer: the renowned German conductor, Volker Hempfling shall join Peter Broadbent (UK) at the Academy in the Hungarian Choral Castle from 9th till 19th August 2012. Vil du lære mer om å arrangere konserter og festivaler?

I forbindelse med festivalen Europa Cantat i Torino (Italia), vil en gruppe unge mennesker få opplæring i produksjon av konserter og festivaler. YEMP (Young Event Management Program) ble for første gang tilbudt ved en liknende festival i Nederland i 2009. Dersom du blir valgt ut til å delta, vil du få innblikk i alle sider av konsertproduksjon og også få prøve det ut i praksis på en stor festival.

For the second time, the festival EUROPA CANTAT is offering a training programme with workshops and presentations to smart and resourceful young organisers: the Youth Event Management Programme (YEMP) from July 20th to August 5th 2012 is a training course for young choral managers, including training on the job as part of the international festival staff at the festival  EUROPA CANTAT XVIII  in Turin, Italy. Are you ready to learn?
