Office closed for Christmas holidays
Our General Secretariat will remain closed for Christmas holidays from December 22nd 2011 to January 8th 2012. Mails will be checked irregularly during this time but urgent matters will be dealt with at the latest in the first week of January. For matters concerning the festival in Turin please write directly to info@ectorino2012.it

Many news were posted on our website in December, giving updated information on the World Youth Choir, the Youth Event Management Programme, the festival in Turin in 2012 and much more. Our news are now also autmatically posted on Facebook and Twitter, so that you will always be up-to-date if you follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/ECA_EC), become my friend on Facebook (search for Sonja ECA EC) or like our Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/EuropeanChoralAssociation). We have also included many new videos among the favourites on our youtube channel www.youtube.com/ECAEC.

Deadlines for application coming up
The official deadline for the EUROPA CANTAT festival with the early bird reduction and a guarantee on atelier choices and festival accommodation was December 1st 2011. We are happy to report that around 3.000 people applied before Christmas. However, applications are still possible in the frame of available places in ateliers and there are later deadlines for some parts of the festival programme as well as for other activities of ECA-EC in 2012.

World Youth Choir in Oslo / 2012 Summer session
The singers of the World Youth Choir and the members of the World Youth Choir Foundation with the patrons IFCM, Jeunesses Musicales International and ECA-EC were very proud of the performance of the World Youth Choir at the 2011 Peace Nobel Prize Ceremony in Oslo on December 10th 2011. The choir also gave a full concert in the beautiful aula of the Oslo University on December 9th and opened the Peace Nobel Prize Concert in the Oslo Spektrum on December 11th. Did you miss the IMC World Forum on Music in Tallinn?
